How to install
Preparation:
1- Press the back cover forward and remove it.
2- Remove the battery.
3- Insert the SIM card in the specified slot and write down the device name and password on the label. 4- Put the lid back in place.

Connect to Internet

If your device has Wi-Fi capabilities, from the existing Wi-Fi networks list, click on the name of your modem, then enter your user password in the window that opens and click OK. Now, you are connected to high-speed Internet via Rightel network. - Via Cable
2.1 connect the devices to your system with the cable.
2.2 The operating system automatically detects new hardware and start to install it.
Note:
If the program does not automatically run, double-click on autorun.exe on the drive path and run the Auto-run file. - 2.3 Follow instructions that appear on the screen to perform the installation.
2.4 After installing the program, an icon of the software will be displayed on your computer screen.
2.5 At the end of the installation process, the program will automatically start. After this step, if the modem is connected to the computer, the Device Manager will automatically run. You can also double-click on the computer screen to run Device Management.
The setting to install and use the modem via cable is similar to modem wu260 of Rightel.

Software Settings
For any changes in software settings when your device is connected to Ri-Fi, on your Internet browser enter 192.168.1.1 on URL bar; in the opened window type your username (admin) and password (admin).
In the opened window you can change the username and password of the device.
To change the device password, you can proceed from the following path.
Settings / WLAN Settings / WLAN Security Settings / Change password WPA Pre - Shared.

Updating Ri-Fi Software
When the modem is on, if the modem is not connected to any device in wireless mode, after 30 seconds the device is reset, the WiFi light turns off and the modem goes to sleep mode. When the last modem user, disconnects the wireless connection, the WiFi indicator turns off after 2 minutes and the modem goes to sleep. Pressing any of the modem buttons, exits the sleep mode and activates the modem.
It is recommended to update Ri-Fi Software to increase standby time from 2 minutes to 15 minutes. It's worth mentioning that update operations are performed on the Windows operating system.Please, pay attention to the following points before updating
- Remove SIM Card from the modem.
- Connect the Ri-Fi to your computer with a cable.
- Install the software according to how to use Ri-Fi.
- Close the software.
- Download and run the following file on your computer.

Software Settings
Username and password settings of the device
For any changes in software settings when your device is connected to Ri-Fi, on your Internet browser enter 192.168.1.1 on URL bar; in the opened window type your username (admin) and password (admin).
In the opened window you can change the username and password of the device.To change the device password, you can proceed from the following path.
Settings / WLAN / WLAN Basic settings
In WPA Pre-Shared Key you can change the password that is provided at the back of your device.
PIN Settings
If SIM PIN Code is enabled, after entering the user panel of modem, message "Pin required" is displayed. The SIM PIN must be entered and then choose "Apply".
If you wish to disable PIN, at this point choose "Disable PIN verification" so that the option will be disabled on the SIM PIN.
To disable, change or activate SIM PIN Code you can apply the following methods:
1- Use other devices such as smart phones and tablet.
2- change settings from the following path:

APN Settings
To use Rightel high-speed Internet you should set the APN. To access APN settings you can track bellow path:
Setting/Dial Up/Profile Management
Its configuration is as follows:
Profile name:RighTel
APN: Static
APN name: RighTel
After setting APN, you can use the Internet. It should be noted that applying these settings is required only once and then connecting the modem to any other device will not need to reset the APN.
Sleep Mode Settings
If the modem is not used, the default mode is Sleep Mode. After 10 minutes the network connectivity is interrupted. The following path can extend the time up to 120 minutes.

Roaming Settings
The modem can be used in roaming mode. Settings of the modem in default state is on auto mode, so roaming is automatically selected. If the modem is used in roaming mode, in the main page of user panel "RighTel Roaming" is displayed.
Under normal conditions when the modem is in roaming mode, there will be no Internet access. If you want to use the Rightel Internet in roaming mode, you should set Data Roaming to enable from the following path:

In the opened page, you can change the name and password of the device. To change password, you can use methods below:

2- WiFi/Basic/Pre-shared Key & SSID
PIN Settings
If SIM PIN Code is enabled, after entering the user panel of modem, message "Pin required" is displayed. The SIM PIN must be entered in the below path and then choose "PIN Unlock".
If you wish to disable PIN, at this point disable the PIN Code so that the option will be disabled on the SIM PIN.

To disable, change or activate SIM PIN Code you can apply the following methods:
Roaming Settings
The modem can be used in roaming mode. Settings of the modem in default state is on auto mode, so roaming is automatically selected. If you wish to only use 3G mode, you can do the below settings:

The username and password is provided on the back lid of the device and it can be reached via the menu key on the device on Menu - Device Info.

Ri-Fi Settings without entering User Portal
Using menu key, you can change the settings of the device. The On/OFF key will approve the options and enables you to move in the menu.
- Data Activation on Roaming Mode
After entering "Roaming Data", you can enable or disable this option. - Change Network Mode
Entering "Network Mode" inside this menu, you have 3 options: 4G only, 4G Pref and 3G Only. If you wish to only be connected to one of 3rd and 4th generation networks of RighTel, you can change the network mode to 4G Only or 3G Only.
Using menu key, you can change the settings of device. On/Off key will approve the options and Menu key will move you between menu options.
Software Settings
Setting up a Username and Password for the Device
For any changes in software settings via the user portal, type the address 192.168.0.1 or http://tplinkmifi.net on your Internet browser when your device is connected to Ri-Fi. in the page that opens write user name (admin) and password (admin). Please consider lowercase and uppercase letters.
- via the Phone Panel
In wireless settings menu you can change SSID and wireless Password.
- via PC Panel
In the menu Advanced> Wireless> Basic Settings you can change SSID and wireless Password.
PIN Settings
If SIM PIN Code is enabled, after turning on the Ri-Fi, (Pin required) a message is shown on the display. In this case, the user must enter the SIM PIN through the panel. If you wish to disable pin for the later use, you can disable the PIN at this stage. To enter the PIN code from the bellow:
- via the Phone Panel
By entering the phone panel, the first step is to enter the SIM PIN to enable it.
Go to Device> Advanced> Pin Management, to disable the pin code until next time of setting changes. By choosing to turn off "Enable PIN" and enter a PIN code, this may be possible.
- via PC Panel
Advanced>Pin management
Also from this menu you can disable the PIN until the next change. For this change please select "Pin Management" Option and enter the PIN code.
APN Settings
These settings are automatically made and to access the APN settings you can follow this path:

Roaming Settings
The modem can be used in roaming mode. Modem network mode settings on the default form are on 4G Ref option, so roaming is automatically selected. If the modem is used in roaming, the roaming symbols on the screen of modems are shown with "R". If the network mode is set on 3G Only or 4G Only Ri-Fi cannot use roaming mode.
Under normal conditions when the modem is in roaming mode, there will be no Internet access. If you wish to use the Rightel Internet in roaming mode, Data Roaming option should be enabled from the following path:

By address Dial-Up> Data roaming settings can be changed to enable data roaming.

Connect to Internet

If your device has Wi-Fi capabilities, from the existing Wi-Fi networks list, click on the name of your modem, then in the window that opens, enter your user password, and then click OK. Username and password are shown on the screen when WPS button is pressed. Now, you are connected to high-speed Internet in Rightel network. - with Cable

Software Settings
Username and password settings
For any changes in software, settings when your device is connected to Ri-Fi, on your Internet browser enter 192.168.1.1 on URL bar; in the opened window type your username (admin) and leave the password empty. Please consider uppercase and lowercase letters.
PIN Settings
If SIM card PIN, Code is enabled, after the Ri-fi is turned on a message showing "Enter PIN" is seen on the screen. In this mode, enter the SIM PIN through user panel. If you wish to disable PIN, disable the PIN at this stage.
To enter the PIN track the following path:
Internet settings>SIM Card PIN Lock>PIN Code
Through this path, the PIN code could be disabled until setting is changed. This is possible by deactivation "disable PIN" and entering the PIN.
APN Settings
APN setting is automatically done. To access APN settings track the following path:
Internet Settings>APN Settings>APN
Wi-Fi settings
To change the name of the SSID (the name through which you can identify WiFi on other devices) and password, you can do the following:
Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Security Settings
In this window, in order to define the new name for WiFi, enter the name in the SSID for Wi-Fi window. You can also use the following ways to change the password on this page:
- Use the New Key button to automatically create a password. The new password created by checking the Show Characters is visible.
- Define the password in the Pre-shared key window, which should contain upper and lowercase letters, digits and at least 8 characters. The new password is defined according to the previous option, by checking the Show Characters option.

Roaming Settings
The modem can be used in roaming mode. Settings of the modem in default state is on auto mode, so roaming is automatically selected. If the modem is used in roaming mode, in the main page of user panel "R" is displayed. In case network status is set for 3G or 4G mode, ri-fi does not go to roaming mode. Under normal conditions when the modem is in roaming mode, Internet access is available. If you do not want to use the RighTel Internet in roaming mode, you may deactivate "allow Data Roaming" through the following path:
Internet Settings>Connection Mode Settings > Allow Data Roaming

SMS service could be used through user panel. Refer to the following menu to view received SMS or send SMS:
